The cottage has a long history and has been lovingly restored by its owners to offer guests a comfortable stay with all the modern conveniences. Harbourside has a number of nautical items of interest adorning the walls; from old sea charts, unusual driftwood pictures to a locally handmade traditional lobster pot.

The bedrooms, one double and two bunk rooms, are on the ground floor, as is the family bathroom (bath with shower over, w.c and basin) and two storage cupboards, one housing the washer dryer, iron and ironing board and the other storing the beach games, buckets spades, fishing nets and wind break.

The open-plan first floor lounge with its comfy sofas and dining area has magnificent views from its floor to ceiling patio doors overlooking the harbour and Farne Islands . These lead out onto a large balcony, where you can enjoy a drink and watch as the sun sets over families of Eider ducks occupying the calm waters of the harbour.

A large, feature stone fireplace housing an electric log effect iron stove completes the homely atmosphere of Harbourside, perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring.

Adjacent is a fully equipped, compact kitchen ensuring home cooking is as much an option for guests as dining out at one of the area's many great places to eat.

At Harbourside, we accept one, well behaved pet. A welcome pack is provided for them as well as for their owners upon arrival.
